Upstate Capital is pleased to welcome Mike Paniccia, Vice President of Argosy Capital, as a new Board Member. Mike was nominated on December 10, joining a group of leaders who are committed to strengthening access to capital and expanding deal flow across Upstate New York. His appointment reflects the continued growth and momentum of our network, as well as the caliber of talent driving investment and innovation throughout the region.
In his role at Argosy Capital, Mike focuses on developing and assessing investment opportunities, including investment underwriting, execution and portfolio monitoring. He brings valuable experience from his previous work in Financial Sponsors & Leveraged Finance at MidCap Financial, where he supported middle-market transactions and capital solutions. Mike holds a BBA in Accounting from The College of William & Mary, providing a strong analytical foundation that supports his disciplined approach to evaluating opportunities and creating long-term value.
Mike’s leadership and expertise will help Upstate Capital continue building a connected, outcomes-driven ecosystem for investors, founders and business leaders across New York.
