Giving back to our community by paying it forward.

Upstate Capital has been leading the NYBPC, New York’s statewide entrepreneurship competition for several years. The New York Business Plan Competition impacts hundreds of students from more than 50 colleges and universities every year. Nearly 50% of participants self-identify as under-represented founders. More than $500k has been invested in this program, with over $250k awarded in prize money to emerging founders since 2017.
