INTERVIEW: TOM QUINN OF

Congrats to startups JelikaLite and Rubitection for winning the annual Medical Device Innovation Challenge at the Central New York Biotech Accelerator. Both JelikaLite and Rubitection will be presenting at Upstate Capital’s Invest NY: Health event on March 3 in Buffalo and online.

FBI NETWORKING SESSION

On March 7, the Business Council of NY and the University at Albany’s College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security & Cybersecurity will be hosting the networking session “Protect Your Business: Resources & Guidance From the FBI.” The session is a special opportunity to have a dialogue and develop partnerships with the FBI and to learn about the resources and services they provide.

2021 YEAR IN REVIEW

Upstate Capital member Amerisource, an independent direct lender and provider of capital to small and lower middle market businesses, recently published their “2021 Year in Review.” Key metrics include 28 new client deals in 20 states. Executive VP Bill Herrington said, “2021 was a year of record growth across all of our secured lending platforms: working capital, real estate, and equipment.”
