Who Should Attend?
Space is limited, so secure your spot soon! These workshops are specifically targeted toward current or potential angel investors who meet the U.S. securities law definition of an accredited investor:
- Income Criteria: Annual income of at least $200,000 as an individual or $300,000 with a spouse or partner.
- Net Worth Criteria: Net worth over $1 million, excluding the value of your primary residence.
If space permits, founders of high-growth startups who are currently seeking or may soon seek angel or venture capital investment are also welcome.

About the Workshops and Presenters
These workshops are offered at no cost to participants, thanks to a prize awarded to the Western New York Venture Association from “Springboard”—a competition that supports organizations enhancing the entrepreneurial landscape in Buffalo-Niagara, the Rochester region, and the Southern Tier.
The Angel Capital Association (ACA), a professional society with 250 angel group members, presents these workshops. As the premier source of education on angel investing, the ACA brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. An experienced angel investor certified to deliver Angel University programs will lead the workshops. Local angel investors will also participate as panelists, sharing their firsthand experiences and insights.
