Upstate Capital is pleased to welcome Josh Nelson, Senior Director at NY Ventures within Empire State Development, to our Board.
At NY Ventures, Josh plays a vital role in strengthening New York’s innovation economy by investing in the entrepreneurs, fund managers and accelerators that drive growth across the state. His past experience also includes serving in various roles at Harvard University, where he managed a student venture competition and an alumni co-working space at the Harvard Innovation Labs.
As a new board member, Josh brings deep insight into the state’s innovation infrastructure and a commitment to supporting capital and connections for New York’s growing business community. We look forward to his leadership as we continue to expand opportunities for investment and innovation across the state.
