Lockhouse Distillery
Lockhouse Distillery is the first distillery to operate in Buffalo, N.Y. since prohibition. Nestled in the Historic Cobblestone District we produce six flagship and two seasonal spirits. Our dedication is to producing spirits that are high quality and distinctive both in cocktails and on their own.
Buffalo Distilling Company
In 1883, Buffalo was recognized nation-wide for its innovation. It was during this time that an ambitious businessman named Gustav Fleischmann took control of the E.N. Cook & Co Distillers company and started the Buffalo Distilling Company. Spirits were high and BDC made some of the best, including Golden Grain Whiskey, 4C’s Canadian Style Whiskey, Old Monongahela Whiskey, Old Tom Gin and Maple Gin. Our Bar Room has ephemera sharing the story of our name sakes original roots and an unopened bottle of the original golden grain whiskey, thought to be the only one left in existence.
In 1914 Mr. Fleischman put the company to rest, presumably retiring ahead of prohibition. Buffalo Distilling Company went into a 98 year sleep before being formally re-established 98 years later on a farm distillery in Bennington, NY.
Thin Man Brewery
Founded in 2016, Thin Man Brewery strives to provide the Western New York community with a fun, inclusive, and forward-thinking approach to the craft beer business. Buffalo born and raised, we are proud to service our community with good times, good beer, and good neighbors! BUFFALO FOREVER.
Resurgence Brewing Company
At one point, Buffalo was home to over 30 breweries and, at the time we were opening, several other new breweries had opened or were planned to open. Nothing seemed to capture the momentum and energy of what was happening all around us more than RESURGENCE.
Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard
Founded in 1979, Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard is a pioneer of viticulture and winemaking in the Finger Lakes.
The Wiemer estate spans 90-acres of prime vineyard sites on the western slopes of Seneca Lake and the wines are among the most acclaimed in the region. Estate fruit is hand-harvested and hand-sorted, and vineyard qualities are worked in small lots and then blended to create wines of balance and texture. Fermentations rely on indigenous yeasts to ensure each wine embodies the truest expression of site. Our commitment to place draws on the same forward-thinking techniques and respect for the past that has fueled our mission since Hermann’s first block of Riesling was planted over forty years ago.
