Paramax is expanding its transaction team with the addition of Tyler Trubish. Before joining Paramax, Tyler was an Investment Banking Associate at Aleutian Capital Group. He sourced and managed deals across various industries, including software and technology, healthcare, consumer products, transportation and logistics, manufacturing, and business services.
VC + GROWTH

Increased venture capital investments in the Upstate New York region signal a rise in the startup sector. Excell Partners says Upstate New York drew more than $117M in 35 deals, resulting in approximately 500 new jobs. “Health care and IT are the two most active industry segments attracting investments in upstate followed by consumer products and energy,” says Theresa Mazzullo, CEO of Excell.

The Hudson Valley Angel Hub is launching in October 2022 with an overall mission of connecting angel investors to entrepreneurs and college students. The HV Angel Hub programs will be held monthly, in-person and remote, and will include educational presentations, roundtable discussions, expert panel discussions, pitch and exhibition events, and networking events.

The Entrepreneurship at Cornell program hosts Eclectic Convergence; a conference focused on the entrepreneurial journey. The 2022 event is on October 21 at Cornell Tech in NYC. Experience this year’s eclectic mix of speakers and their personal stories and perspectives on building their iconic enterprises.
