Powered by our partner Dealroom, Invest NY brings together data from multiple sources—public web data, ecosystem partners, the startup and investor community, and third-party providers—into one place. The result is a living map of New York’s innovation activity that anyone can explore for free.
In this webinar, Alan from Dealroom walked participants through how the platform works and how different users can get value from it:
- Founders can claim their company profiles, upload pitch decks and make sure their information is accurate and up to date. This increases their visibility to investors in New York and around the world.
- Investors can build targeted searches using powerful filters, save lists and queries, and track companies over time using real-time signals like funding rounds, headcount growth and web traffic.
- Ecosystem leaders—including incubators, accelerators, universities and regional organizations—can see activity across their portfolios and geographies, use maps and dashboards to highlight impact and contribute data back to strengthen the platform.
During the demo, Alan showed how to:
