Joshua Ness, Senior Manager at Verizon 5G Labs, has been announced as the keynote speaker for Invest NY: Industry 4.0, presented by Upstate Capital and NYSTAR. The event takes place online on March 25, 2021.
Verizon 5G Labs partners with enterprises, startups and academic teams to drive innovation around 5G concepts. 5G is replacing 4G cellular networks, delivering greater bandwidth and higher download speeds, which opens up new opportunities for many new applications, particularly in advanced manufacturing.
Invest NY: Industry 4.0 features a showcase of innovative startups, and discussions with investors and leading companies in advanced manufacturing, hardware/software, IoT, big data, and other related technology sectors. After an invitation-only CEO roundtable hosted by Jeremy Shure, Global Head of Early Stage Practice at Grasshopper Bank, up to 15 startups will pitch their innovations advancing business and industrial technology. Two panel discussions will take place: Investing in Innovation and Improving Profitability, featuring Kohler Innovations, General Composites, Worximity and MACNY, and 21st Century Supply Chain in the Age of Covid, featuring IBM, Hamilton Lane and Aerosafe Global. Networking is open all day.
