RECAP: Hudson Valley Venture Hub Leader’s Forum 2018
On November 8, Upstate Capital had the pleasure of sponsoring the Hudson Valley Leader’s Forum hosted at CO. in Rhinebeck, NY. Organized by Tony DiMarco of the Hudson Valley Venture Hub, the Leaders Forum manifests what Tony calls the ecosystem 2.0, or the next generation of the entrepreneurship ecosystem that is both cohesive and inclusive.
The goal of the Leaders Forum is to bring together ecosystem builders from across the Hudson Valley to connect, and create working problem-solving sessions to assist specific organizations with their endeavors.
For example, Dede Hourican, the new Assistant Dean of the School of Computer Science and Math at Marist College, hosted a roundtable to discuss ways to create sponsorship avenues for the Mid-Hudson Regional Business Competition, part of the NYBPC, the regional and statewide intercollegiate entrepreneurship competition.
Over 30 leaders from across the region sat down to troubleshoot their shared initiatives to encourage growth and support to the Hudson Valley entrepreneurial ecosystem. Check out all of the pictures here.
