Meet Don Shiers: Senior VP at Paramax Corporation
and Upstate Capital’s newest member
Paramax Corporation is an investment banking firm focused on strategic sell-side transactions. They offer valuation services, fairness & solvency opinions, buy-side advisory services and financing advisory services. Don Shiers, Senior VP, is active in all phases of sell-side, buy-side, valuation and consulting projects. Since joining Paramax in 2012, he has participated in twenty projects. Don’s favorite part of the job is “project work with its beginnings and endings. I also enjoy having the opportunity to experience a variety of industries and to observe a variety of management styles. And finally, I like knowing that every aspect of what I do is important and makes a difference.” Don believes in the importance of teamwork and is “proud to have been a member of many cross-functional teams that found new homes for businesses that continue to provide jobs and be a part of the Upstate community. |
