Meet Vikram: He’s working towards a solution to the nation’s rapidly rising prescription costs

Vikram Agrawal is President, CEO and Co-Founder of Troy-based healthcare IT company, Levrx Technology. With the rapid increase in prescription costs, Levrx Technology is providing solutions to face a modern problem. This is Vikram’s second healthcare startup – his previous venture, Etransmedia Technology, provided physician services and technology solutions to drive higher revenue and improve patient care. He sold Etransmedia Technology to Formativ Health in 2016.

“Everything we do on a daily basis brings new problems to solve. It’s always fresh and exciting,” said Vikram. At this time last year, Vikram employed 2 individuals, he has 25 today, and at this time next year he’s expecting to have 75 employees. 

Building a strong team is important to a successful business, and Vikram excels in finding new talent and growing his team. He uses his network to find the right people. Outside of building and growing Levrx Techology, Vikram loves the time with his wife and three children. He loves reading and watching movies, though he admits, “when you have young children, there’s no time for hobbies beyond that.”
