Venture NY: Upstate Capital’s annual early-stage event featuring the NYBPC Finals

About the Event: Since 2003, the Upstate Capital Association of New York has connected the investment community advancing the mission of expanding access to capital for companies, and deal flow for investors across New York State. Venture NY is Upstate Capital’s premier annual event for early stage investors and the innovation community across the state. Attendees of the event are investors, advisors, mentors, entrepreneurs and those interested in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Opportunity: Upstate Capital is offering high-growth startups an opportunity to give a three-minute introductory pitch (with up to five slides) followed by two minutes of Q&A to a panel of investors. Selected companies will not be charged to pitch and offered one free ticket to attend the event.
We aim to feature growth-oriented companies that have participated in 43North, GrowNY, GENIUS NY, Luminate, Fuzehub’s Commercialization Competition, and the Griffiss Institute’s HUSTLE competition, OR companies with revenue, proprietary market position (i.e. patented technology) and/or significant traction with customers. This opportunity is ideal for startups that are either actively raising capital or seeking to raise capital in the near future and find this exposure useful for recruiting talent, customers, advisors and/or strategic partners.
