Advancing Quantum-Enabled Engineering
Abhishek leads BQP, a deep tech company pioneering the use of quantum computing to transform engineering simulations. With a focus on Computational Fluid Dynamics, BQP is creating tools that have the potential to change how mission-critical industries model complex systems.
At the intersection of computational science, quantum technology and entrepreneurship, Abhishek is guiding the development of next-generation simulation capabilities that address some of the most demanding engineering challenges.
Under his leadership, BQP has raised more than seven million dollars in venture capital and government funding, while forming strategic partnerships with leading organizations including the Air Force Research Laboratory, Airbus, SpaceForce, IBM, NVIDIA and Intel.
A Strong Foundation in Aerospace Research
Abhishek brings deep expertise in aerospace engineering to his work. He earned his Master’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he conducted high-fidelity research on parallel CFD solvers for advanced aerospace systems including eVTOLs, rotorcrafts and wind turbines. His academic experience is supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, and he has represented both his work and BQP at leading forums across science, engineering and quantum computing.
These include AIAA SciTech, APS March Meeting, IEEE Quantum Week and invitations from Oak Ridge National Laboratory, NASA Langley, the US Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division and DRDO’s Naval Science and Technological Laboratory. He has also delivered keynote talks at the Asian CFD Conference, ASSOCHAM’s Quantum Technology Conclave and The Quantum Computing Summit.
