Aaron is a serial entrepreneur with a long record of building companies that redefine what is possible in the software and cloud security sectors. He has founded five successful software startups, authored multiple books and holds six patents. His work continues to influence how companies safeguard data and navigate the evolving technology landscape.
Today, Aaron serves as the founder and CEO of Cloud Storage Security Inc., where he leads efforts to help organizations protect their cloud environments with advanced security tools. His entrepreneurial journey has been rooted in creativity and a commitment to solving complex challenges for businesses and communities.
A Life of Exploration and Discovery
Aaron’s achievements extend far beyond boardrooms and innovation labs. His passion for exploration has taken him to the edges of human experience. He has crossed the Karman Line as the 717th person to reach space. He has stood at the stern of the Titanic, visited the deepest known point in the world’s oceans at Challenger Deep and attempted to summit Mount Everest twice.
These extraordinary endeavors speak to a mindset that embraces discovery, celebrates human potential and pushes the boundaries of what we believe is possible. His experiences continue to inspire others to explore, learn and value the importance of preserving our world.

Aaron’s dedication to service is a defining part of his story. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the First Gulf War, an experience that shaped his leadership and his commitment to helping others.
He founded Exploring Our Deep World, a nonprofit that supports education, conservation, scientific research and exploration of the planet’s deep waters. His work with the organization highlights a deep belief in stewardship and the power of shared knowledge.
Aaron also serves on the Board of Directors for TAPS, the Tragedy Assistance Survivor Program, as well as the Strong National Museum of Play. His involvement reflects a strong dedication to supporting families, communities and future generations.
