The event will include pitches from GENIUS NY's top finalists, a keynote speech from Ana Dutra, national expert on corporate governance, and an expert panel discussion on building an effective Board of Directors for startup and established companies. The program will include networking with investors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders from across the region at the Central New York Biotech Accelerator in Syracuse, NY and a festive holiday theme.

Ana Dutra is the CEO of The Executives’ Club of Chicago, a 107 year-old world-class senior executives organization focused on innovation, technology, Diversity & Inclusion and leadership development for current and future top leaders. Prior to that, as the CEO of Korn/ Ferry Consulting and a Proxy Officer for 7 years, Ana created a $400+ MM new global business through a combination of organic growth, 7 global acquisitions, innovative go-to-market approaches and incorporation of technology and digitalization of products and services. Dutra’s expertise lies in helping Boards, CEOs and their teams to identify and execute growth strategies and turnarounds through innovation, acquisitions and new technologies. As a CEO herself, Ana Dutra has led a number of global acquisitions, post-merger integrations and execution of accelerated growth strategies. She has led and advised businesses in the technology, CPG, food & beverage, retail, pharma, oil & gas, manufacturing, energy and professional services industries.
Former president & CEO of Saab Sensis
Marc J. Viggiano served for two years as CEO of Saab Sensis including global ATM and US Defense Radar businesses. Prior to Saab, he worked at Sensis for 25 years in a variety of managerial and technical positions, helping to guide it from a seven person startup to a 700 employee company. While at Sensis, he launched the Air Traffic Systems business and served as President for 10 years as it grew to a $100M division focused on improving the safety, capacity and efficiency of civil aviation. In 2011, Viggiano led the effort to sell Sensis to Saab which resulted in a 40X exit for initial Sensis investors. He is a member of the SRC Ventures board of directors. He is also the CEO and founder of Niteopark, LLC.
Managing Parnter, Armory Square Ventures
Somak Chattopadhyay is a managing partner with Armory Square Ventures. He has been operating, advising and investing in technology companies in New York since 1999. Most recently, he was a Partner at Tribeca Venture Partners, an early stage venture fund in NYC with over $160M under management. Somak was responsible for sourcing, leading, or managing numerous investments across TVP’s two funds before launching Armory Square Ventures in 2014. Somak sourced and evaluated investments across the Mid-Atlantic for Edison Ventures, an expansion stage fund with over $700M under management. At Edison, Somak launched the NYC office and also worked with M5 Networks, a VoIP software company that was acquired by ShoreTel in 2012. He held senior marketing and business development roles at Medtower, a pharmaceutical IT software company, and DealTime, a comparison shopping company that was later acquired by eBay. He started his career by working at Broadview International (now Jefferies) and served as a director of the Software & Information Industry Association.
